Social Classes within the feudal system
Different social classes were important in the life of the feudal system. At the top of the feudal pyramid was the monarch, next the lords and bishops, then knights and lesser nobles and then finally peasants. Each class of people owed something to a higher power (Except the king) in return for a service or protection.
